Duke Delivers works to connect every pet with the warm, loving home they deserve. In addition to monetary donations, Duke Delivers provides personal protective equipment to local animal oriented establishments to assist in safe and sanitary practices.

“In addition to delivering disposable gloves, we intend on supporting our local shelters by sponsoring individual animals that come up for adoption,” says Chris Sanders, Founder of Duke Delivers. “We, as people, have a responsibility to be a voice for animals and to respect their well being.”

Duke Delivers is building on a foundation of compassion and inclusion to help animals have better access to healthcare and loving homes. Duke Delivers does this by promoting simple acts of kindness and embracing the belief that every animal deserves a chance.

THEIR STORIES

COLA

SUGAR

Cola and Sugar were found wandering in a lumber yard. A concerned community member who had grown quite fond of the pair posted on the Nextdoor app and fortunately a Gateway Pets Guardian volunteer saw the message. In the post, the community member mentioned that Cola and Sugar were injured from repeated attacks by other dogs roaming the area. Once at the shelter, they noticed that Cola had multiple lacerations on his neck and head. After treating his wounds, both pups were given baths, yummy treats and lots of love.

louie

Silly little Louie loved his bully stick so much that he swallowed the stick whole! His little puppy body couldn't digest the bully stick, so he had to go into surgery to get it removed. He is now back home, fully recovered and happily knawing on treats.
